Silent Auction Baskets

This week we helped with a fundraiser for the Scleroderma Foundation. We started by creating a list of possible baskets. Each grade level chose what they wanted. They then brought items in and we out everything in to baskets. This baskets will be sold in a silent auction at the Spaghetti Dinner on Sunday in Elizabeth at the community building. Creative Dance

For the last few weeks Mr. Knauer has been helping the students create their own dances. It was great to see it all come together today.

Fractions!

Today we continued working with fractions. We had to come up with more one way to create a while using fractions. We used pattern blocks to help us figure this out. What a fun math class!

PTO Ski Night

This past Wednesday the PTO sponsored a ski night at Chestnut Mountain. While I was there I saw several students. I didn't think about taking their pictures until the night was almost over. I was able to snap this one. Everyone had a blast!

Second Grade Friends

To end out celebration, we read to second graders. We also created Dr. Seuss hats made out of Oreos and gummy life savers. We had a fun day!

Petting Zoo

The FFA sponsored a petting zoo today. There were all sorts of different animals there for us to see. Check out our pictures to see what we were able to enjoy. I think we have some animal lovers in our class!
